Transfer iPhone photos to PC

For those that use corporate laptop and without rights to install iTunes, here’s a trick for you.

  1. Ensure your iPhone screen is on and unlock.
  2. Connect your iPhone to your laptop.
  3. Click Start > Computer
  4. You should be able to find your iPhone now.

Had tested with a windows 7 corporate laptop and this trick totally works!!

Extend mirrored dynamic volume in Windows 2008

Server OS: Windows 2008 R2
Storage: ReadyNAS 3200 iSCSI volume

1) Expand both the iSCSI target  luns

2) Right click on the 2nd volume on the mirror and choose remove mirror.

3) Right click on the 1st Disk and choose offline.

4) Right click on the 1st Disk again and choose online.

5) Right click on 1st Volume and choose Extend Volume follow through.

6) Right click on 1st Volume and choose Add Mirror to add back the 2nd Disk.

7) Allow sometime for the disk to re-sync.

Create Mirror dynamic disk using iSCSI in Windows 2008

Server OS: Windows 2008 R2
Storage: ReadyNAS 3200 iSCSI volume

1) Launch iSCSI Initiator via Administrative Tools

2) Input the NAS IP or DNS name of the Target for NAS1, then repeat again for NAS2

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3) From Disk Management: right click on the 1st new Disk and choose online

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4) Right click on the 1st new disk and click Initialize Disk and choose the GPT partition style.

 

 

 

 

 

5) Repeat step 3 and 4 for the 2nd new disk.

6) Right click on the 1st Disk and choose New Mirrored Volume.

7) Select the 2nd new disk and click Add

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

8) Click Next and follow through.

Import .nk2 files into Outlook 2010

To import .nk2 files into Outlook 2010:

  1. Make sure that the .nk2 file is in the following folder:
    %appdata%\Microsoft\Outlook
    Note: The .nk2 file must have the same name as your current Outlook 2010  profile.
    By default, the profile name is “Outlook”.
  2. Click Start, and then click Run
  3. In the Open box, type outlook.exe /importnk2, and click OK.

Disable Teredo Tunneling interface

To disable ISATAP adapter, Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface graphically for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2:

  1. Device Manager > View > Show hidden devices
  2. Open up Network adapters and right click on the adapter to disable:
