May 14, 2010 Leave a comment

Have you guys wonder what is it so good about iPhone maps application when it does not have the turn by turn navigation feature?

You would use it to search for a restaurant, a shop, petrol station, Starbucks coffee and lots more especially when you are in town with little idea of where it is. Finding the shortest route by public transport or on foot is easy on iPhone with the maps app. Remember to check out the traffic condition using maps before leaving the office if do not wish to be late for dinner appointment.

Have you wonder how does the surrounding looks like for places you do not know? Street view on maps app shows you the surrounding in 360 degree angle. With the new compass feature in 3GS, it tells you the bearing of your current location.

So, what more do you need from maps?
