Instant dictionary popup shortcut for Mac OSX


Select and highlight the word, press and hold command ⌘ + control + D

You may want to give it a try on this:

This time do not highlight the word, hold command ⌘ + control + D, release the D and move around the cursor.

*Note: this works only with applications that are from Apple.
